Serving Ware Workshop | Oct. 4
Serving Ware Workshop | Oct. 4
October 4 | Saturday | 11 am - 3 pm | Pound Ridge, NY
Hand-build pieces that are both functional and personal. Serving ware made just in time for the upcoming gatherings.
Each participant will create three pieces:
a serving bowl,
a platter or tray,
and a small pouring vessel,
using a combination of coiling and slab-building techniques. You’ll learn how to shape your forms, smooth surfaces, explore texture, and add optional attachments like handles or decorative elements. Whether you prefer clean lines or expressive details, there’s plenty of room to make it your own. Glaze options will be available during the workshop.
After your pieces have dried and gone through a bisque firing, they will be glazed and fired. Finished pieces will be ready for pick-up at a later date, with delivery available for an additional fee.
Light lunch and refreshments provided.
