Barro Rojo Tecomate Bowl

Barro Rojo Tecomate Bowl
Tecomate is one of the most ancient shapes of clay produced in Oaxaca. We are thrilled to have available to you these beautiful bowls made by 90 year old, Doña Amelia in Ixtlán, a community in the Sierra Norte. Doña Amelia has since retired so her exquisite pieces are now hard to come by. She was the last traditional artisan of her community.
